It was only a short time ago that I started using PNG files. I still use plenty of JPG files. However, the thrill of not cutting things away from their backgrounds in photoshop never wears off for me. I've started using PNG files where I used to wish I could "flatten" an image without having a background. It's amazing what you can learn. http://www.google.com/ points me to the answer to most of my photoshop questions and http://www.youtube.com/ has some wonderful tutorials.
